Miss November 09: Nina
Nina is a native of St. Louis, MO currently residing in Oklahoma as she is completing her last semester of coursework there. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med English with a minor in Psychology from Truman State University. She earned her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology with the focus of Psychometrics from Oklahoma State University. She is currently completing her Doctoral degree in the same area at Oklahoma State University.
Miss Nina is not only a student at this time she is an educator. She teaches and has taught many entry-level psychology courses at Oklahoma State University and Northern Oklahoma College since her entrance into her graduate program in 2006. She is also a tutor and facilitator to many student athletes at Oklahoma State University and enjoys her work very much. Her long-term goals are to own and operate Autism Clinics throughout the south and mid-west, own barber and beauty salons and to become the next Oprah, as she graduates in May of 2011 with her Doctorate (the same year Oprah retires).
Miss Nina loves to go to church, work out, rap, sing, play the piano, braid and do hair and motivationally speak as she has a successful YouTube vlog, nearing 14,000 subscribers (http://www.youtube.com/user/BeautifulBrwnBabyDol). She loves to help others achieve their health and beauty goals as she herself has lost nearly 100 pounds and has maintained this weight for over 3 years. She loves to give back to her community and is still an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Furthermore she devotes community service to and loves to work with under-privileged children as she was adopted at 3 months.
Overall, Nina is a very open, honest and lovable woman who is serious in every endeavor and in a cinch, is on her way to conquer the world.
